About Me

Why Travel?

At one point in your life you will feel exhausted, bored and tired of your routinary life. When that day comes, just step out of your comfort box, move away from your usual self and see your life from different perspectives. Travel! Head out to the endless horizon and discover the world, go places and meet new faces, explore to understand new cultures, get lost to find yourself. In the end you will realize that traveling is not only about learning new cultures or meeting new friends or discovering new places, it also lets us discover our own culture, our limits, ourselves. It is a personal journey to self-discovery, because after all, it is only from the outside that we can look back in.

Hi! We’re planning to go on a vacation this April.. relax relax naman konti after working non-stop the whole year. Anyway, I’ve been to pagudpud and I would like some place similar to that, white sand beaches (must) and offers places which you could tour as well. Our choices are Camarines Sur, Zambales, and Anda, Pangasinan. We’re not really big into surfing, snorkeling, etc, we just want somewhere to simply relax and lay by the shore. I would really appreciate any ideas that you have. Thanks so much! 😀

    1. HI, sorry for the late reply. Are you into camping, if yes Zambales has a lot of great beaches ideal for stuff lije this – Anawangin, Capones Island, Nagsasa, Camara Island, Potipot, etc. If you opt to stay in resorts, there are resorts in Pundaquit area and you can just rent a boat to take you to these places. I have posts on Capones and Anawangin, try searching it. Pangasinan is also an ideal place, Anda, Alaminos and Bolinao have great beaches and resorts. You may want to try also Dasol, Calaguas and Caramoan although these are more extreme.

Hi! I’d like to know how I could get to Barrio Bulala, Camalaniugan, Cagayan Valley from Manila. I’m planning to ride one of the buses (Florida line or Victory liner) or use plane. This will be my 1st time to go to there. Please help!

    1. Hi, go to Tuguegarao and ride a bus going to Aparri, Camalaniugan is the town before Appari so you will not miss it. From there, ask locals for the directions or ride a trike to Bario Bulala.

  3. Hi, and congratulations! Neat site you have here.

  4. nice shots….. for sure you will like more puerto princesa and palawan.

    1. Thanks Ysabelle Mansion! This is my second time actually in Puerto Princesa, my first time there was last August, but only as a transit passenger to Cuyo. So my PPC trip this November would be my first PPC Tour! Exciting 😀

Im newly certified open water diver. I am planning to dive in anilao. Can you recommend me a dive resort with reasonable price as i have a limited budget.

The cheapest I know in Anilao is the Outrigger. You can also try Dive and Trek and Aqua Venture (where I usually go)

Hi! I’m just wondering, when is Dive Camiguin? Is it pushing through this month? And can I still join Dive Moal Boal? How do I go about joining? Oh, and is it ok if I’m not a diver yet? I’m just someone who finds it (diving) and the different islands of the Philippines fascinating. Thanks!
