Cheers to Three Years

Lakwatsero

THE RESULT OF CHEERS TO THREE YEARS CONTEST IS HERE.
CHEERS TO THREE YEARS WINNERS!

From a personal blog I started in 2006, I shifted to travel niche in 2008. From then the lakwatsero in me didn’t stop. I went to different places, explored off the beaten tracks, dive unspoiled and popular dive sites, discover hidden beaches, and shared most of it through this blog.

Hi Lakwatsero, my hometown is in Cebu City. It isn’t called the “Queen City of the South” for nothing. Here in my humble and shy hometown, is where the sophistication of urban lifestyle meets the beauty offered by nature, in it’s most tranquil, magnificent form. Inspired by the cultures of multiple nations, the food in Cebu is something every man should try at least once in their lifetime. Everything in Cebu is excellent; the food, the travel, the sights, and even the quality of life itself. But what I love most about my hometown is that I live in the heart of the city which is the heart of the country and needless to say, the people here have genuinely big hearts. Simply put it, my hometown is not only a beauty in the outside, but is even more beautiful in the inside. I should warn you, however, that when you go to my hometown, the smiles and happiness of the people are infectious. 🙂

    1. Thanks Windon! Cebu is one of my favorite places in the Philippines. This 2011 alone, I’ve been there thrice 🙂

  14. My hometown is Tarlac where you can find the famous Isdaan Restaurant (Gerona Tarlac) I want to visit that place even though Im a Bonafide resident of Tarlac I honestly admit that I didn’t find to visit that place, reason: “No Money”. :()

    1. Thanks Sherwood 🙂
Is that the resto where you can break your plates? 🙂

  15. Cheers! I’m from Taft (Taft of the mountains =)…that is why “Tayo na sa Antipolo, at doon maligo tayo sa batis na kung tawagin ay Hi-Hi-Hinulugang Taktak!”
