Despite its proximity to Manila, which is just only six hours away, and its popularity to surfing enthusiasts, much of Baler remains quaint and pristine.

The capital of the province of Aurora, Baler is now fast becoming a tourist hotspot with its natural wonders, historic spots and of course, its famous waves. Here are some of the photos I took in my recent weekend getaway in the beautiful town of Baler.
