Lake Fewa
Located at an altitude of 742 meters (2,434 feet) and covering an area of around 5.23 square kilometers is Lake Fewa, a freshwater lake in Kaski District of Nepal and being shared by the city of Pokhara and the villages of Sarangkot, Kaskikot and Dhikurpokhari.
Lake Fewa has become one of the main attractions of Pokhara. Restaurant, shops, hotels and other establishments sprouted in the area known today as Lake Side, now a famous tourist district. Along the shore of the lake, tourists can rent a paddle boat to explore the lake.
Here’s a snapshot of the colorful boats docked in the shore of Pokhara, a picture that shows the colors of Lake Fewa, the colors of Pokhara, the colors of Nepal.
