Kawasan Falls is a multi-layered waterfalls located in Barangay Matutinao in the town of Badian of southern Cebu. It is less than an hour away from scuba diving hotspot of Moalboal.
Famous for its beautiful turquoise water, Kawasan Falls sits at the foot of Mantalongon Mountain Range. The waterfalls has two main cascades both with deep natural pools ideal for swimming. Its first cascade stands at approximately 40 meters. Meanwhile the less crowded second level has a height of approximately 20 meters and can be reached within ten minutes of trekking.
Entrance fee in Kawasan Falls is P200 per person good for three (3) hours. Bamboo rafts that can sit up to 20 persons are available for rent on the site for P300. It will to take you to where the water drops for a natural waterfalls massage. You cannot bring food and have a picnic at Kawasan Falls anymore, there are no restaurants at the falls area either. You can have your meals before you go to the waterfalls or after.

I’ve visited Kawasan falls a lot of times but this year was a different experience. I’ve tried Canyoneering in Alegria and the exit is in Kawasan falls. All the challenges made me appreciate the beauty of Kawasan falls more! I think it’s a must-try for everyone who wants to visit Kawasan 🙂

Kawasan Falls is really amazing. I love the water’s bluish color. However, you need to climb higher if you want less crowd because the lower parts are crowded. I think you should also visit Aguinid Falls in Samboan. It’s not popular yet but I love the limestones and you need to do rock climbing before you reach the 5th level. 🙂 http://www.travellingthephilippines.info/aguinid-falls-samboan-cebu/
ito nga pala ang isang lugar na gusto kong mapuntahan, dahil dito mo makikita ang ganda ng kalikasan..na nakikita natin na mas pinapangalagaan pa at pinagyayabong.
